Evergreen Garden Care was formed in 2018, following the acquisition of the European and Asia-Pacific operations of Scotts Miracle-Gro.
The business is a leader in garden consumables and operates primarily in the UK, France, Germany, Austria, Poland and Australia. Its leading consumer brands include Fertiligene, Roundup, Miracle-Gro, Substral, Pokon, Osmocote, Weedol and Levington. Its products are available in leading retailers such as B&Q, as well as in independent garden centres.
An industry leader in the lawn and garden care market, Evergreen’s new leadership team was keen to ensure that its 800 employees, were fully aware of and engaged in the businesses new ambition, strategy, values and goals.
They appointed employee communication specialist Allman Communication to support them in shaping and sharing an engaging story that would engage and excite colleagues. Working in partnership with Allman, we developed a visually engaging campaign, that not only delivered clear communication during the launch, but has also been applied effectively to subsequent communications including an employee survey, an HR handbook, employee email campaigns and a regular employee newsletter.
