Hosting over two thousand business leaders and politicians, the UK Northern Powerhouse Conference & Exhibition was an annual gathering to promote the northern economy and support growth across the region. The conference brought together key players in the region and made a significant impact on the delegates in attendance, addressing key issues such as transport, education and devolution. In preparation for the event, we were briefed to develop a comprehensive brand awareness campaign, needed to drive traffic and encourage attendance to the two-day conferences.
We provided strategic recommendations and delivered a creative brand solution that highlighted the major city regions involved in the initiative. The inclusive branding ensured all the major stakeholders got behind the event, which in turn helped guarantee the conference was both well attended and considered an unmitigated success by all. Key deliverables included the branding, exhibition stands, print and digital advertising, presentation materials and promotional items. Building on the positive momentum of the conference, we then went on to design an Outcomes Report, written by the Northern Powerhouse Conference Advisory Board, which was presented at a parliamentary reception at the House of Commons.
